Our activity mornings and afternoons are fun-packed three hour sessions where every child gets to try a huge range of instruments, play as part of a band with the other participants and take home their own CD.  No experience necessary!

Cherry Pie Activity Mornings (and afternoons) are an ideal introduction to music for kids who are thinking they might like to play an instrument.  Where else will you get professional tuition on over a dozen instruments in just a few hours!  They're also great for kids who are already having music lessons, to put their musical skills into practice in a fun environment and inspire their existing musical activities.

During the first two hours children are shown how to play the wide range of instruments we have at Cherry Pie, interspersed with musical games and activities that build rhythm and aural skills ready for the last hour where all the experiences of the first two hours are put into practice.

During the last hour children choose their favourite instruments and are coached by our expert staff to play together as a band.  Once they've got the groove, we record them using our professional recording studio and produce a CD for each child to take home, during which children have the choice of having some more time on their favourite instruments or joining the engineer in the studio to see how a real recording studio operates.

The Activity Morning really is an amazing and unique opportunity to experience playing a huge variety of instruments in a fun environment, and to be part of a recording session as well, all under our expert supervision.  There's nothing else like it!
