Kate Logvinyuk – Piano
Kate began studying music at the age of four. A real passion for the piano allowed Kate to continue her musical education as a performer. She received her BA and MA degrees in Piano Performance from the Gnesin Academy of Music. After that Kate continued to improve her performing skills at the Schwob School of Music in the USA in the studio of the renowned pianist Alexander Kobrin. During her studies she has appeared in many international piano competitions and has won first prizes. For more than 10 years she has been able to combine performing and teaching piano.
With a strong background as a performer Kate strives to pass on her accumulated knowledge to aspiring pianists. Her teaching style is based on a keen attention to the development of musical hearing, sight reading, and on the development of technical skills. In a relaxed manner, Kate lays down the basics of music theory from the very first lessons, allowing her students to quickly analyse and better understand the music they are playing. These skills will benefit every music lover or provide a solid foundation for further professional music education.
