Despite only playing since the age of 16, naturally gifted Chris quickly achieved grade 8 on the drum kit and went on to earn a BMus Popular Music Performance degree from the London College of Music and Media. Chris has extensively toured his native Northern Ireland with various bands and since moving to London in 2004 has gigged with such great musicians as Andy Hobson (The Pretenders) and Melvyn Duffy (Robbie Williams, Tina Turner, Paul Young.) More recently he has started appearing on the London circuit and developed a keen interest in developing fusion styles. Chris is at home with a wide range of styles and has a diverse musical background including pop, rock and jazz. Chris is passionate about music and when not playing himself he enjoys going to gigs and discovering new music and inspiration. Chris is a warm and enthusiastic teacher and enjoys teaching at all levels, from complete beginner to pro. He is also a keen sports fan.
