Gina began her musical career with a degree in drama and Italian and has gone on to become a highly sought-after independent opera singer and soloist. She has won prizes for first place and most outstanding performance at festivals and competitions all around the country including Hull, Cottingham, Richmond and the North London Festival of Music. In 2006 Gina completed a Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Vocal Performance. Gina feels passionate about teaching and has started her own opera company, Runaway Opera, which is dedicated to making opera more accessible to local communities and giving young singers a performance platform at the start of their careers. Gina loves cats and has one of her own, Smudge, who she describes as "very grumpy, but incredibly good looking." She also likes going dancing and would love to go on safari.
