Kim started playing clarinet at the age of 8 and had already achieved grade 8 by the age of only 13. She is currently a final year student on the BMus Performance degree course at the prestigious Trinity College of Music, having previously also completed 3 years at Junior Guildhall. Kim currently plays with The Trinity Symphony Orchestra, is the leader of The Blandford Ensemble, a wind dectet, and also plays with a wind quintet, the Zypheros Ensemble. All this plus playing clarinet and saxophone in the Trinity Musical Theatre Band keep Kim busy with regular concerts and recitals all around London and across Europe. Although classically trained Kim is equally at home with jazz and has played with both jazz and Klasmer ensembles. When she's not involved in music Kim plays a lot of netball. She also likes swimming, jogging, socialising, going home to the countryside, going for long walks and spending time with her family.
