Michalis completed his undergraduate degree in piano performance in his native Greece then came to England to study for a postgraduate diploma in piano accompaniment and is currently working on a MMus in performance studies. He has a wide experience of teaching including being trained as a classroom teacher in a Southwark secondary school. Michalis also has an extensive performance history, including countless concerts and recitals around London and in Greece. He currently most enjoys collaborative work and has recently been involved with physical theatre and contemporary dance projects. His playing has won him several awards, most recently in London in 2005/6 for his duo performances. When he's not performing himself Michalis enjoys opera, theatre and dance and cooking and eating Greek food.
