We are currently recruiting: teachers, activity and youth group leaders.  Please read both this and the requirements page carefully before applying.

Please do not contact us at the current time for work experience, studio or office work as your CV or application will not be reviewed or held on file.

At Cherry Pie we are always interested to hear from talented individuals who are interested in joining our team, according to current business needs which are stated above.

We interview promising teachers, activity and youth group leaders as they come to ensure we always have a pool of staff to use for peripatetic work, to replace or dep for teachers at the school as necessary.  Passing the interview does not mean we immediately have work for you but that you have met our high standards and we will call on you as and when we need.

Although all our teachers are interviewed to the same standard, we require a greater level of commitment from teachers at our school than we do for peripatetic teachers.  In return you will find you have a greater number regular students than if you were undertaking peripatetic work.

We pride ourselves on high levels of staff competency and customer service and you will be examined at interview to assess whether you have the skills and attitude to maintain these high standards.  In addition all our staff are trained upon starting work with us to ensure our standards are upheld.  We take great pride in our work and are only interested in people who feel the same.  Absolutely all staff without exception must hold a full CRB disclosure and undergo training in child protection upon taking any post with Cherry Pie.

Due to lack of resources for supervision and training we do not currently accept work experience placements, although this situation may change in the future.

Office and studio vacancies are advertised as the business need arises.  Please do not contact us on spec for these vacancies unless we are currently recruiting for them.
