Schools and PRUs
School Visits
We offer a full peripatetic service for primary and secondary schools and nurseries. One of our quality teachers will visit you on a weekly basis and bring our high teaching standards and inspiring approach to your school.
We are able to provide peripatetic teachers for nearly all instruments, as well as general music session leaders, choir leaders and so on. All our teachers are experienced, highly qualified and of course have references and a full CRB check. Our teachers are comfortable running either 1-1 or group sessions. Teachers from other peripatetic services usually fail our interview, so stick with Cherry Pie to make sure you're not getting someone who wouldn't meet your own high standards. We have a stringent selection and training process to make sure we can confidently send our teachers out to represent us and give you an absolutely top-class service.
We also offer the service of coming to your school and doing a fun and hands-on music assembly. There's no charge and no obligation and the assembly is entirely focused on music in general, not on Cherry Pie. It's a great opportunity to watch us work first-hand and see how the children in your school react to having the chance to play a range of musical instruments.

Pupil Referral Units
We run bespoke workshops and courses for youth groups and PRUs, tailored to your particular group and the outcomes you require.
We can come to you or you can bring your group to visit us and the whole array of resources and facilities we offer are open for you to use. Previous workshops and ongoing sessions have included recording studio workshops, guitar workshops, singing workshops and general music sessions.
We are used to working with a wide range of clients from specialist music groups to general youth clubs and groups of excluded young people. Get in touch with us outlining your interests and aims and we will work with you to create sessions that are productive, inspiring and build self-worth. We can build recorded and accredited outcomes into the programme as you require. We have highly capable staff and a wide range of facilities to offer. The only limit is your imagination.
We operate a competitive pricing system that runs on the number of members of staff required (ratio dependent on the type of group) the number of rooms needed and the amount of time you want. We have previously worked with groups of up to 25 onsite and could realistically work with around 40. At your own premises, the number of participants is entirely up to you.
