Student and Staff Concerts
Student Concerts
There's no better way to put everything you've learnt into practice than by playing in a concert! We hold termly concerts at which all our students can take part and you or your child can experience first hand the thrill and excitement of performing to an audience.
To make things fun we also include some showcase performances from our talented staff, the Cherry Pie Choir and our other groups. For your enjoyment we have snacks and drinks available for a small charge, and if you're over 18, you're welcome to join us afterwards for a drink too!
Even the best musicians get nervous before playing live, so we have staff on hand to help relax and prepare you before going on stage so you enjoy the whole experience as much as possible. For children, performing their instrument live is not only inspiring but also helps to build confidence in all areas of their life.
Our student concerts are held once a term at Drake House in Wimbledon. Check the calendar section to see what's going on, or sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear about them!
Staff Concerts
We held our first staff concert on March 21st 2009 at Bertie's Wine Bar in Wimbledon. The 4 hour concert featured the talents of various members of the Cherry Pie team playing mainly blues and jazz sets and was a great success. We're planning to organise more in the future, so sign up to the newsletter to keep up to date on what's going on!
