Francesca – Violin
Francesca was born in Italy. She studied at the Conservatoire of Cagliari (Italy) where she graduated with first class honours in 2005. Since 2003 she supplemented her formal studies at the Conservatoire by attending the postgraduate courses at the ‘Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia’ – Portogruaro (Italy) with Igor Volochine. In 2005, following her academic training, she broadened her musical knowledge by joining Pavel Vernikov’s class at the ‘Scuola di Musica di Fiesole’ (Florence). She then moved to England and continued her studies privately with Natalia Boyarsky. In 2009 Francesca attended a Master course held at the ‘Milano Music Masterschool’ (Italy) under Yulia Berinskaya. In 2012 she was awarded a Master of Arts in performance from the Royal Academy of Music (London).
She has taken part in several masterclasses under leading musicians including, among others, Igor Volochine, Felix Andrievsky, Evgenia Chugaeva, Krzysztof Wegrzyn and Gerhard Schulz. By joining chamber music and orchestral courses, and performing freelance in several orchestras in and around London she broadened her performing experience. Francesca is a committed and enthusiastic teacher, with many years of experience and a very good record of her students’ achievements.
