Alana Quaid

Graduate Teacher
Alana graduated with a BA honours degree from the British and Irish Modern Music Institute in 2023. She has completed all eight vocal grades and earned a Vocal Teaching Diploma from the London College of Music board. In addition, she has successfully completed piano grades with the LCM board.
She has gained substantial live performance experience through numerous appearances in Irish venues and festivals as both a session musician and solo artist. Some of these festivals include Electric Picnic, Primavera Pro, Beyond the Pale, Altogether now festival, and Kaleidoscope festival.
She is an eclectic listener and is proficient in various styles such as pop, rock, jazz, soul, and musical theatre. Alana has experience teaching people from all age groups and strives to develop each students potential.

Alana has completed the new Cherry Pie Music Teacher Training Programme, an intensive course for graduate musicians. This programme equips teachers with comprehensive skills in one-to-one tuition and provides valuable real-world teaching experience. We are delighted to welcome Alana to the Cherry Pie Music team from September 2025 and are excited for the expertise they will bring to their teaching.
