Ricky O'Donnell - Guitar

Ricky O’Donnell is a guitarist & bassist with over 20 years’ experience. Ricky started playing guitar aged 12 having been inspired by the music of Queen, Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, and many others. He started performing aged 16 whilst studying at East Kent College, before moving to London in 2009 to continue musical studies at Kingston University. Whilst at university, Ricky started to teach guitar and continued to teach into his career as a full-time musician. 

In addition to teaching, Ricky performs regularly around London, the UK and Europe playing with his own and other originals bands, as well as various functions and weddings. He is the guitarist in his band, “Eddy Smith and the 507”, playing events and venues such as the Isle of Wight festival, SXSW, Long Road Festival, Black Deer, the Jazz Cafe, Pizza Express, and has recently released an album that has just hit 1 million streams. He feels he is very fortunate to be able to work with some incredible musicians to learn from them as he continues to grow as a musician.
