Joel Paul holds an MMus (with distinction) in Music Performance from Kingston University, specialising in jazz and composition. He studied jazz and contemporary composition privately for six years under Berklee alumnus Smarajeet Bhattacharya. Joel has performed at numerous prestigious UK venues, including the Rose Theatre, Royal Automobile Club, and regularly appears at venues such as Alfie’s Jazz Club and Spice of Life in Soho. 

With several years of teaching experience, Joel is passionate about motivating and inspiring students of all ages. He successfully prepares them for graded exams while helping them develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of music.
