Graduate Teacher

Stan Hui Jin graduated from University College London (UCL) with a Master’s degree in Music Education (with Distinction).

He’s been playing the violin for over 20 years, winning awards like First Prize at the China College Arts Festival, Second Prize at the National String Competition, and reaching Grade 9 of the Chinese Musicians Association.

As a natural leader, Stan has served as concertmaster in university and graduate orchestras for five years, leading over 100 musicians in more than 10 major concerts—including two gold medals at the China College Arts Festival. He’s also given four solo performances at the Hangzhou Grand Theatre, gaining rich stage experience.

With five years of teaching experience, Stan offers personalized violin lessons for all levels—from 6-year-olds to adults in their 30s. He has helped over 60 students pass graded music exams and earn certificates.

Beyond classical music, Stan enjoys creating rap, jazz, and electronic pop, which gives him a broad understanding of different music styles. His teaching focuses on sparking curiosity and creativity—using stories and imagination to help students feel the music and develop strong musical expression.
