Gayane – Head of Piano

GayaneGayane Gasparyan, Russian pianist, was born in 1981.
She began to learn the piano at the age of 4. Gayane made her debut as a solo pianist at age of 11 on the Russian Television performing D. Kabalevsky’s Piano Concerto No 3 Op. 50.

At the age of 14 Gayane was invited to study at the State Gnesins College of Music.

In 2000 Gayane entered the Moscow State Gnesins Academy of Music. She was studying under Professor Aleksey Skavronsky (2000 – 2006). After graduation she gained qualifications of Concert Pianist, Chamber Musician, Accompanist, and Teacher. Being a student of Moscow State Gnesins Academy of Music Gayane was working as an accompanist in the Bolshoi Theatre.

In May 2007,Gayane was granted a Golubovich Scholarship for two years MMus course at Trinity College of Music, London where she studied under world renowned pianist Martino Tirimo.
In summer 2008 Gayane won an International Piano Competition Ibla Grand Prize in Ragusa, Italy. The Top Winner prize was a debut recital at Carnegie Hall, New York. After the competition Gayane was also contracted by Lancaster Symphony Orchestra (conductor-Stephen Gunzenhauzer) for a tour in America to perform Mozart Concerto No 21 in C Major.
In 2009 Gayane was a scholar of Trinity College of Music. In 2010 she was awarded an FTCL Diploma in performance.
In 2011 Gayane completed a MMus course at Guildhall school of Music and Drama with the financial support of Guildhall Trust.
